On the outside, I was composed and capable. Inside, I was constantly overthinking, overworking, running on empty and not feeling good enough.
For years, I told myself to push through - until the cracks started to show. Sleepless nights. Sunday dread. Irritability (oh, I remember that one very well). The constant feeling that I was one mistake away from being found out.
I came across trauma-informed, somatic work while dealing with a whole host of family issues (alcoholism, narcissism) as well as trying to deal with my full-time legal work. For the first time, something actually helped.
Understanding my nervous system - and how to regulate it - didn’t just help me cope. It helped me feel calm, clear and in control again. But importantly, I started to understand why I was showing up the way I was and why I never felt good enough. I wish I’d known this years ago. It would’ve saved me a lot of stress.
I became so passionate about the impact of this work that I retrained - and eventually stepped away from my partnership role to share it with other women. It was too good to keep to myself.
Now I help other high-achieving women find the same relief and clarity - using practical, science-backed tools that actually work.
